Welcome to my practice! My name is Lisa Karasick, and I am a psychologist with years of experience helping clients like you cope with life's challenges. 

If you are struggling with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, or chronic pain, you've come to the right place. I specialize in evidence-based practices tailored to the individual, for both adults and adolescents.  My approach is always client-centered.

Adolescents are facing unique challenges during these times of increased stress and isolation. If you are a parent concerned about your teen's mental health, I am here to help with issues such as anxiety, depression, bullying, suicidal ideation, and self-harm.

Whether you prefer video or telephone sessions, I am here to help you feel supported and empowered in your journey towards better mental health. My clients often report that they come to prefer telehealth, as it offers a level of convenience and comfort that can be hard to find in traditional therapy settings.

About Lisa Karasick

Clinical experience and keen interest in chronic pain, trauma (incl. MVC), anxiety (incl. phobia/panic), and mood disorders (incl. depression, bipolar disorder I and II, cyclothymia, and any emotional imbalance).  Staying up to date on research for best practice relating to psychological assessment and psychotherapy is of utmost importance to my practice as is the unique needs and personalities of the client.  I utilize only evidence based practice, adapted to fit each client, all of which fall under cognitive behavioral and biofeedback techniques.
